TIme magazine published an interesting article November 18th by By Simon Shuster entitled, “The West Can’t Stand Up to Russian in the Donald Trump Era.”  It provides more depth to our understanding of the impact of a Donald Trump presidency.  Trump has advocated positions that weaken NATO and actually allow the Russian’s to annex Crimea.  His views fundamentally change the balance of power in the 21st century in a way that undermines the strength of all Russia’s enemies.  It helps one understand why Russia would go to such trouble to influence the US election.
